The music of colours

From July 23rd to 31st 2011, the festival Messiaen au pays de la Meije will explore the relation between sounds and colours. It was a trait of Messiaen genre. A kaleidoscope of Debussy, Ravel, Scriabine, Chopin, Stroppa’s music and others will shine through 13 concerts.
Tristan Murail is the special guest for this 14th edition. He will give a master class on July the 29 th 2011

Last year Olivier Messiaen’s most famous student : Pierre Boulez, pay homage to his master with an increasing audience to approve it. His music still resonates in La Grave.
